Available Today! “Blind Bet”: Episode One of Load the Dice
The doors open to a foyer that’s filled with stylishly dressed, beautiful people. Eric mentally thanks Andy for coaxing him into wearing one of his best outfits; if he’d shown up in jeans and T-shirt he would’ve been kicked out. But now he’s here in black cigarette slacks, a tight, dark green waistcoat, and a starched white button-up with a textured black tie and a fancy silver-and-emerald tie clip that his mom and dad got him for his last birthday. His hair is styled, he’s put together, and he feels ready to face anything. Mostly.
A large man steps up to them when they enter. He’s actually carrying a clipboard.
“Names?”
“We’re not on that list, sweetheart,” Andy says, smiling. “But go tell Leta that Andy is here with the promised man candy.”
The man raises an eyebrow, but he turns and goes into the mass of people chatting and dancing and drinking their night away. Within moments, there’s a squeal, and a curvy redhead with a great smile hurries forward and tugs Andy into a hug.
“Andy! You came!” she laughs. She looks over at Eric. “Oooh, man candy indeed! What is he?”
“Check the wrist,” Andy says, and Eric narrows his eyes at the redhead suspiciously.
“Pardon?”
“Why do you think I told you to wear that?” Andy asks, pointing at Eric’s leather cuff, positioned tightly on his left wrist. “It doesn’t go with your outfit.”
Eric hadn’t questioned after the third tequila and didn’t remember until now that he was even wearing it. He glances down and then grimaces. “What kind of party is this really, Andy?”

Recently, I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of Episode 1 of Moriah Gemel’s serial fiction Load the Dice, which will be available for FREE from Interlude Press TOMORROW!!!
Seriously. Episode 1 is free. And a tease, because if you are anything like me, it will leave you positively desperate for more.
Episode One (titled “Blind Bet”) is both an incredibly hot read for devotees of BDSM erotica and a perfect introduction for those who are tentatively interested in the genre but are yet to give it a chance. This is a story about Eric, who thought he had left the scene behind but finds himself (somewhat unwittingly) stumbling into it once again, and about Jamie, who has never before let his extensive fantasies about submitting to a powerful Dom come to life. This is a story about what Domination and submission should be, and what it inherently is when it’s done right.
This episode is a gloriously smooth read; the writing is tight and polished, the characters are immediately endearing, and the sex is enough to melt your brain (I’m not kidding. Keep a cool drink nearby).
I highly, highly recommend that you treat yourself to this freebie, and consider pre-ordering the future installments to come. I know I cannot wait for the next episode!
